The Swiss Franc rose across the board on a weekly basis falling only against the Dollar among majors. USD/CHF finished above 1.0600 but far from intra—week highs. The pair peaked on Thursday at 1.0750, 2-week high, but retreated on Friday finding support at 1.0635. The rally of the Swiss Franc against the Euro continues. EUR/CHF ended at the lowest weekly close since the Euro was created. The pair finished below 1.4300 after being unable to recover the 1.4300 zone.
Cable fell to a fresh 14-month low against the Franc at 1.5825 but later GBP/CHF rose back above 1.5850. The pair fell for the sixth week in a row.
Against the Yen the Swissy finished at on Friday at the highest level since January 25. CHF/JPY rose in the last four sessions accumulating an increase of 160 pips.
AUD/CHF tumbled on Friday. The pair broke an important support and fell to 0.9593, reaching a 4-week low. The pair fell for the third week in a row. The Swiss Franc also posted considerable gains against the Canadian Dollar on Friday
